Questions, answered plainly.

Will CareerStudioIQ write things I haven't done? No. Every drafted line must cite an item in your Record, your confirmed experience. A line that introduces a number, tool or credential that isn't in its sources is removed, and you see how many were removed and why.

Is it an auto-apply bot? No. The studio never submits applications. You decide where your name goes and mark a pursuit submitted yourself.

Does it estimate my chances of getting hired? No. It shows which requirements your experience supports, partly supports or doesn't show. Nobody can know your odds, and pretending to would push people toward the wrong roles.

What does "supported" mean? A requirement quoted from the posting is matched to experience you wrote down. Partly means the match is incomplete. Not shown means nothing you've provided covers it yet, so it stays off your résumé.

Who is it for? Any job seeker in the US. Field packs add expert depth for cybersecurity, cloud security, GRC and AI roles, and workforce programs, training providers and colleges can give the full studio to their participants.

What is a field pack? Ninety days of expert depth in one field for $19.99 once: expert fit briefs, the field's review lens, field interview question sets, pay context and skill-gap plans. Pro includes one.

Is my résumé used to train AI? No. Neither we nor our AI providers use your Record to train models.

Does the Quick Scan send my résumé anywhere? No. It runs in your browser on the same matching engine as quick scans in the studio. Nothing you paste is sent or stored.

Which AI models draft my documents? Fit briefs, résumé tailoring, letters and practice feedback are drafted by OpenAI or Anthropic models, directly or through Vercel's AI Gateway, then checked against the rules on the Trust page before you see them.

Can I export or delete my data? Yes. Export everything as a file from Settings at any time. Delete your account and your studio is removed right away; only security logs are kept, for up to two years.

Is the studio really free? Yes. The free studio includes unlimited quick scans, 10 AI fit briefs a month, 3 active pursuits, tailored résumés with sources on every line and typed practice interviews.

Can I cancel Pro? Yes, any time, from Settings. Prices are in US dollars.

What if something I bought doesn't work? Email support@careerstudioiq.com within 14 days of purchase and we'll make it right, including a refund where appropriate.

Who buys CareerStudioIQ for a group? Workforce boards, training providers, colleges, veteran transition programs and employers supporting people through a layoff.

What can program staff see? Only what each participant shares: progress, documents, rehearsals and outcomes, each switched on separately and all off until the participant turns them on. Every staff view is written to a log the participant can read.

How does a pilot work? Ninety days for up to 50 participants for $1,500. Participants get Pro and your field packs, coaches get the review queue, and you get outcomes reporting. We scope it with you on a 30-minute call.
